Haiku Boringness

So i was dozing off in public speaking when I realized I had forgotten to write my blog for this week. Realizing this fact, I decided to avoid sleeping by writing a few little Haikus after being inspired by the Daily Ning we had in which we had to write one. So here are a few that I wrote about completely random things that popped into my head when I thought about nature.

The Falcon
Always Gazing Down.
Nature's soaring predator.
Feared by all below.

Winter's End
Birds begin to tweet.
Flowers wake from dormant state.
Knowing spring soon comes.

Rainbow
Nature's Florescence.
Glowing rainbow of all shades.
Arching over earth.

Depression
Always feeling low.
Unable to get higher.
No ladder in sight.

Eliminating my agility is your ultimate ability, making movement tough is your plan of evil cruelty.
Restricting me from fun like a wife does to her groom, your presence in my life brings a sense of certain doom.
You wrap around me tight like a boa constrictor, your squeeze so tight my voice goes to a soprano from a tenor.
You sneak up on me...nearly every single morning, grabbing on my body without any type of warning.
Its not that I hate you..I just hate what you represent, your kin are the reason that my pockets contain lint.
I'm very glad to say that you're soon to leave my life, and if my mother doesn't mind I'll convert you via knife.
I'll slice off your outer limbs and throw the offal in the trash, or I may just make a fire and burn your excess into ash.
It won't be up to you so don't even make retorts, you'll soon be changed quite quickly from blue jeans into shorts.

Pants: My Sworn Enemy.

Week 4

Based on the fact that my life is boring and the weeks are normally just the same thing with a few changes in between, I've decided to change my blog permanently to mirror last weeks concept. From now on my blog won't be my week in review, but instead I'll just write a poem about something on my mind or something completely random. Kay.

When rain decides that it's too cold to drop, it doesn't just quickly decide it shall stop.
It instead takes on an alternate form, with much more beauty than a normal rain storm.
It decides to fall instead as snow, each flake emitting a soft-white glow.
The snow falls softly as it drifts to the ground, quiet and gently without making a sound.
It slowly piles up one flake at a time, it appears pure and clean with an aura sublime.
But as it continues to cover the ground, it gets deeper and deeper until its depth is profound.
For when it reaches a certain height, it becomes much less pretty and instead causes fright.
It covers the roads and eliminates driving, it stops daily life from going on and from thriving.
How could something that appears so pure, cause trouble that seems to always endure.
For even upon melting and filling a drain, it always comes back and causes more pain.
It's an endless cycle of nature's cruel trickery, and it appears that for nature it will always yield victory.
Its innocence is nothing but a great masquerade, one in which we've all been betrayed.
It lures us in with beauty on sight, but has us dreading its presence by the end of the night.
Snow.

Even pretty things aren't too pretty when you see their real intentions.
